Analytic Transcription
[Transcription of the Nahuatl (right-hand column) by James Lockhart:] [f. 73r.] coaian:* niman ic iaque, ōmocacauhque in micali. ---------- *INEZCOAIAN. The translation demands that the intention is “inezçoaian,” not at all unlikely in view of the fact that omission of the cedilla is a fairly common phenomenon.
